MIFS events and convenings
The Institute convenes credential holders, employers and local societies through summits, regional forums and online sessions. Each event advances the standard the market can trust and connects the profession across markets.
Where the profession meets
From the flagship Standards Summit to monthly webinars, MIFS events bring rigour, integrity and practice together. Programmes are hosted by the Institute and delivered in partnership with MIFS Societies in more than sixty cities.
The Institute's calendar spans three formats. Flagship and regional forums gather practitioners in person for standards briefings, research launches and society-led sessions. Online webinars and the Candidate Success Series make guidance available to candidates and members wherever they work.
Attendance supports continuing professional development. Members record participation against the annual CPD requirement, and many sessions are recorded for later access through the member CPD library. Full programmes and registration details are published ahead of each event.

MIFS Standards Summit 2026
The Institute's flagship convening. Two days of standards briefings, research launches and society-led sessions on the future of verified competence and integrity in finance.
Risk & Markets Forum 2026
A regional forum for risk, treasury and markets practitioners. Sessions cover model validation, market and credit risk practice, and the standards that underpin sound judgement.
Sustainable Finance Forum 2026
A forum on ESG integration, climate risk and disclosure standards. Convened for analysts, portfolio managers and corporate sustainability teams across the region.
Verification & Integrity Webinar
A monthly online session on how MIFS credentials are proctored, signed and verified. Covers the Meridian Sentinel proctoring system and public, no-login credential verification.
Candidate Success Series
A monthly online series for candidates. Guidance on study planning, exam-day expectations and progression through the Institute's programmes and levels.
Webinars and recordings
Online sessions are recorded and made available through the member CPD library. Members can revisit the Verification & Integrity Webinar and the Candidate Success Series on demand and record participation against the annual CPD requirement.
Hosts and partners
Events are hosted by the Institute and delivered in partnership with MIFS Societies in more than sixty cities. Society chapters run mentoring, exam-prep groups and regional sessions alongside the central programme.
